i am intending on being in america next year, 2010, for halloween, and want to talk my husband into coming with me, he likes halloween because he has a wife who is addicted to it, no other reason, so if i tell him i will take him to a baseball game, he will come with me. i intend on landing in san fran, travel to salt lake city, then travel down to vegas and fly out of la. i know nothing about baseball, so hoping you can help. what is the season for baseball? will we be able to go to a game from middle of october to mid nov?
Baseball season is practically over by halloween. The only games going on by Halloween is the world series and unless you plan on going to a city that happens to have made it that far there won't be any games to go to. Hopefully your hubby might be interested in American football. That would be a more flexible option for that time of year.
yeah, regular season ends 1st week Oct and the championship is usually last week Oct. It is certainly possible to get tickets during these games and if you get to a game during the playoffs, it's gonna be exciting . The last week of regular season has about 30 games while the playoff games dwindle sharply.
Here's this years schedule which will be close to next years: baseball
Well, if you enjoy a ''slightly'' family oriented baseball site you are welcome at my place, just see my sig...I cover EVERY team...I'm an Oakland fan, have been since ''69''.
It's still in it's infancy, but I enjoy all good peoples company...esp friends that love Halloween & other holidays.
I use to do football quite a bit...had a membership of over a 1000 or so, but I grew tired of the sport because I play as well & most importantly my son loves baseball more than any sport.
I get more out of baseball because it's played daily during the season & the off season is short too, but hey that's just me & to each his own.
