WARNING: Heavy topic involving religion.
Naturally you'd assume that everyone here is a believer but some of us just see it as fantasy. I for one have many conflicting views. People often say that if you believe in magic or ghost, you must believe in God as well. I definitely believe in ghost but I'm a bit shaky when it comes to God. That's why I've labeled myself agnostic. It's the closest to saying "I'm on the fence" when it comes to religion. I also believe that there are supernatural/paranormal forces on Earth which people are often skeptical about. So how about you? Do you believe some or most of the things discussed here or are you just in it for the entertainment? And if you do believe do you think it's related to religion or do you believe that paranormal and religion are two separate things?

i am a believer in God... In fact, I have a Bible degree and plan on going to the mission field. However, I also believe in the "paranormal".
I think they ARE related to each other. There is a lot of documentation in the Bible regarding spirits and manifestations, so, it would be next to impossible to NOT believe in them.

For those that believe in religion, I would think they would have a difficulty seperating the "paranormal" FROM religion. For, religion, by definition, is a set of beliefs reguarding the "paranormal".
I, myself, do believe in a God. However, I am not sold on RELIGION. Esepecially the whole "everyone else will wind up in hell" parts.

I am a born again Christian, and Know that God is here, I have felt his presence, and I also believe in the paranormal, like xfireboyx says, the Bible mentions paranornal things in it in many places. Alot of people think that being a christian and doing halloween don't go together, but that is their opinion, and should keep it to themselves. I ,for personel reasons and beliefs do not do the devil in my haunts, I do put witches in, because they are not satanic as some charismatic religions believe. But I also feel in America, there is freedom of religion or the lack there of, and in life every one has to answer for themselves. I have to worry about me, how I live my life,,can't decide or fix anyone else. Heck even at my age, I have enough trouble keeping myself outta trouble.

I would love to have the security in believing in god and that in the end we could see our loved ones again. I think the bible and god promote good lifestyles and habbits, in fact I follow most of them. The problem is I dont believe in God, and I dont know why. I think the whole thing is great, but Ive always been a see it to believe it guy. Im not a religion hater or anything like that, infact I hate most athiests because they try to talk **** to those that believe. I wish I could believe, I just dont. Kinda ****.

A point about the term Atheist:
- A Theist is a person who is under the study or belief of a religious order.
- An Atheist is a person neutral to the idea of religions.
- An Anti-theist is a person against religion of all manner and forms.
Many people confuse and/or combine Atheism with Anti-theism.
Many of these confused people are Anti-theists claiming to be Atheist.
I had a Theologian clarify that in a class I had that discussed religions.
Just thought I would point that out and now I will let your thread continue on it's regular course.

I am a firm believer in the supernatural. I am also religious in that I believe there is a God. I am spiritually inclined and I think the two beliefes can co-exist together.
Eventhough I am Dead it is always warm inside my bed.

I'm not sure myself. It's not that I don't want to believe, it's that theres no proof. I have respect for all religions and if you wish to believe in anything I will understand. Do not try to shove it down my throat. I have seen alot people for or against try to shove things down peoples throat. I don't believe I'm going to hell because I don't believe. Even though people will say you will. I just don't believe in all the BS that gos along with it. The more you pay at church you will get a better seat in heaven. Right! I have seen people come into the store quoting the bible then next thing you know they are talking bad about jewish people. And I'm like what. They was a guy at work trying to tell me how to run my life and stared talking about the bible. I told him to back off and he continued. I asks him to stop and he didn't. Finally I got stupid with him, and asked if I could pray to Budda. He looked at me (wideeyed) and said no , because theres only one god, and walked off. Believe in what you want or feel is right. There are so many different religions in this world. To say that your religion is the only true religion is just crazy in my eyes. I will respect everyone to a point, when you cross that line then its on. I have alot of respect for the catholic religion but don't believe in all the teachings. But I will hear everyone out.
