Just heard too. Wow. He had 2 very defining movies while I was growing up.

I think I was 9 when I saw Dirty Dancing. My mom rented it for my sister and I to watch with her and she picked us up Shamrock shakes. Don't know why I remember that, but I do.

I think I first saw him in "The Outsiders".....but my girls only remember him from"Ghost"...how ironic...my thoughts are with his family and friends....

Oh my goodness. I never would have known if I didn't read it here. I remember him in the outsiders, ghost and my all time favorite dirty dancing. Very good actor indeed. R. I. P.

I loved him in Ghost, but who didn't? I think it's so fantastic that he worked hard right up until the end, and to start a brand new series after you've been told such a devastating diagnosis is quite a feat.
