Ok, hopefully this will start a new weekly that will really be a monthly, possibly yearly.

Sorry for venting my personal feelings in the last one. Nothing but good things now.

Brandy - hope everything's ok, I'll try to visit more to keep you company.

I hope everyone is better today..MRS M--I am sure this thread will be fine and all 5-10 'posters' will find it--

getting ready to split for a week with my kids. Goin south. But a couple of things here I will take care of one on the 8th and one on the 1th.

I hope LHALLOWS puppies all find great homes.
I hope BlackRose's baby is big and strong....

so many come and go,but stay in our hearts! Damn this internet LOL!~

Thanks to my ladies (MM, MOON, SPOOKY MAMA) and my gent (UNCLE) for the well wishes. I need all the help I can get. Those of you who know my history......know the reason I have been freakin' out the last two week leading up to this. But none the less........

It feels FANTASTIC to have a new thread. And yes, I too miss all of those that have come and gone and left lasting impressions.

But some of us are still around (how I love thee) and I welcome any fresh blood to the weekly. Welcome Spooky Mama!

Hey guys, saw the new weekly and decided to jump on in, I used to post on the old one, but for some reason got away from it, I have to boring of a life I guess.
Brandy, I have missed alot of the threads, not not sure what surgury you are having, etc. but wish you well, and send good, healing thoughts your way!
Spooki, I could sure use the box of money my self,. can never seem to catch up!
My son has been with out a job for along time, keeps trying, has filled out so many applications, but it keeps getting worse here, with the auto industry affecting all the other businesses in some way, so any good vibes, prayers in that direction would be appreciated! take care all!!

What a wonderful, wacky, Weekly we wound up with well wishes, while wistfully whitewashing wounded wanderers wayward wonderings. With wishes one wished, we'd wipe well the web of whatever wretched words were wantonly wailed.

Uhm...I mean, glad we have a nice shiny new weekly.

Hello to all - be they highly regular posters, highly irregular posters, or just eating a lot of fiber to balance things out.


Been visiting some of the local animal shelters to check out dogs, and am not at all certain if our household is ready for a new family member yet. Not for a lack of potential out there...
Wow. I am amazed at just how many possible candidates there are out there - ranging in age from 6 months, all the way up to 7 years. Broke my heart to leave some of those dogs - had one little girl who'd not come to the cage door for people, except for me. She'd just sit in the middle of cage and look at people, but she seemed to like something about me (not sure what)...she'd come over and let me scratch her - I went back a couple of times to visit her that day. She looked like a schnauzer / chihuahua mix - small but kind of fuzzy. Perhaps I looked like a past owner or something.
Ah well. Like I said, I don't know if our household is really ready to take on a new pooch yet, so I had to leave her for someone else...


Moon!! Enjoy your trip south - and I think I can empathize with Randy's laughter about 18 and "contributing"...although, you've done one hell of a good job with your brood, so hopefully it won't be quite that much laughter...

BW - you'll be fine. How can you not? You've got all of us pulling for you!

Not sure if i'm an old irregular or a flyby on the weekly, i lead a very boring life so don't have much to post about.
Anyway i wanted to send postive thoughts to Brandy and Moon, and hope that the second half of 2009 is better than the first.

I think Im liking this place. lets see so Im working today and tonight 10 hours at my day job and 4 at my 5 at my night, so needless to say Im exhausted already just thinking about it. However....I have tomorrow off!!! Whooo hooo so that will get me through the day Have hubby building me my second coffin ground breaker while im at work so again another thing to look foward to. oooooh and Saturday is just around the corner so that means..........Garage Sales!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bummer Spooki Mama, you missed our garage sale last week..... still have tons of crap left though (sorry no Halloween items, those are MINE. ). I'm off tomorrow too, work still has us on 4 day weeks with a 20% pay cut since last Sept.... Getting use to having 3 day weekends, going to be hard to go back working 5 day weeks once the economy picks up again.

Bethene and ANNEA--always good to see ya-- I have said so many times this thread was started back in the days of one lone board with "topics" there was no 'off topic' back then ..Although, I hate to admit it we managed to derail just about every topic off topic... Poor Larry, LOL!

We started this thread as a common way to keep in touch with those who stuck around all year not just in "october"-- back then I believe the forum was about 400 members

All are welcome--Altho I guess we 'seem' exclusive we really aren't..It's like any other board that seems cliqueish, we just know each other as most of us are as old around here as some of our props

BETHENE--the job thing..I am having it hard, let alone my teens. I hear ya!! most businesses here are on a hiring freeze. My oldest is prayin that come silly season she can at least land something (Anything) even if it is just for the holidays--

I got word my restaurant closed down I figured it was only a matter of time. They were way too high priced for the area and current economy-- Actually surprised they lasted as long as they did.

Yep just me and the kids heading south for a week... Looking forward to seeing my pop out of a hospital room..not looking forward to WHAT LAuderdale has become, ack!

Then we come home to the Keyboard Samauri Shadowcast's innaugural go of REPO in Orlando a midnight show on the 22nd..looking forward to that! J LaRose (SAW FILMS) will be there as well..we met him in Tampa he is a super nice guy.. we were so busy talking we forgot to get pics with him so maybe this time...

BRANDY, my love.. You know as well as I do things are DIFfERENT this time and you are soooo loved. Just wish I could BE out in NM with you. I love ya!~ I will be goin crazy til I get word...

Joe, I don't know if you ever feel ready after losing a loved one. Sometimes you just have to take the plunge. But take your time with it. I know how much that sucks. (((HUGS)))

I took a mental health day today. Slept a good portion of yesterday afternoon and slept in today. Feel better. The moon would explain why I was so disgruntled yesterday.

Thanks for all the well wishes everyone. I appreciate it more than words could say. I DO have the feeling this time will go better than the last. None the less......I wish you cold be with me too, Moon Pie. But I know you all will be with me in spirit.
