Good morning, weekliers! I haven't been on in a while because I was enjoying the Carribean for 9 whole days. Left on Halloween morning. I hope everyone had a GREAT Halloween!!!

Yeah, but it will be different next year.
Top people are thinking of things even as we speak...........I would imagine.
What it will be one can only guess.
I really only volunteered myself and my kids for one weekend, we had so much fun we came back and did the other 3 nights.
Good times.

Happy Sunday night to everyone - or Monday morning, if that's when you're reading this.

Hope your Friday the 13th was a lucky day after all, and your weekend was enjoyable as well.
We just had our cook-top replaced, as it failed on us about a week ago - just about the time we got that new dishwasher in (as the old one failed on us).
So, new dishwasher, new cook-top, and now I need to examine the wiring to our sun-room, as it's mysteriously gone out on us...someone flipped a switch the other night, there was an audible "pop", and now nothing works. I've flipped the breaker a couple of times, unplugged everything, and hit the reset on all the ground-fault-interrupters on all the wall plates...nothing.

Should be fun. I'm trying to avoid the cost of an electrician for the time being.
Thankfully, it's only that room, so the house is still just fine.


There are times I really wish I could read minds.
Had a woman run a red light to make a left turn in front of oncoming traffic in front of me today - she stopped, and just stared at people who'd nearly slammed into her.
Blocking 3 lanes of traffic.
If an accident had occurred, it would have been entirely her fault (ran a red light, and turned left in front of oncoming traffic).
...and she decides to stop and stare at people?

It left me laughing in amazement. I'm still shaking my head, remembering it.
(as a side note: her left turn DID take her into a local shopping mall, so her blind rush isn't that puzzling - but the stopping and staring still has me bewildered)

Hahahaha!!! Welcome to the stupid season! Wow, I am really not looking forward to having to go to a mall for ANYTHING, but part of me does love it because so many stores have such nice displays, gives me ideas how I like to decorate for my place (sometimes if it doesn't include pumpkins I totally need a DIY decor manual!)

Ahhh - it it getting cold up here in Ohio. Thinking of Haiti this season - I've helped an orphanage there....
