Well talk about exhausted...... I'm there with ya! We had a great turn out for out haunted house. 1823 people went through in 4 days. For our set up, thats great. A little over what we had last year. Seems everybody wanted to go on the last night, of course it being halloween night, I guess that kind of thing was on their mind! The first night we kept busy but we had a few moments of not having anyone there to go through.
Hubby is really glad its over ! So that make life at home much better. Oh, that and, he is getting a new motorcycle! That probably helped to put a smile on his face... ( thats one of a few reasons) hehe
Yep... lets see that pic Siv!
Nothing to report from this neck of the woods.
Busy day at work yesterday but so far much better today. Only 30 degrees outside this morn..... burrrrrrrrrr.
Going to St Louis this weekend to The Darkness !!!! Big haunted house there.. cant wait, it should be fun!
Morning all! So everyone's Saturday went well? We had our party at my friend's place, and it had a lot less turnout than last time, but I think everyone had good times- it was just me stressing like crazy! I didn't even have my first drink until 2am- craziness! But I've vowed never to set up at someone else's house again, unless it's just the yard haunt. Setting up inside decor when it's not your place and you're working at the availability of the homeowner just does not work. AND I still have yet to get over there to get things packed up for the same reason. At least she assures me the props are safe from her dogs...
So... November, wow. I checked at Michaels on Monday, but not a lot there. Did get some garland and cute scrapbooking things for cheap, though. Wish I could do a trip to the US this week, I don't know if I could brave Black Friday.
Howdy weekliers! I'm back to stressing about my speech class, and figuring out what I want to take next semester. Good news is: as long as I pass this speech class, I'll qualify for my degree. I'm still going to take classes, but at least I'll be able to add that to my resume.
I've found a few after-halloween deals. 1000w fogger for $30 bucks, Midnite Syndicates' Vampyre for $4, and about 15 pounds of candy so far (only spent about $25 bucks).
Will be buying more candy during the year...from our estimates, we had between 700 and 750 ToT'ers this year, at 2 pieces of candy each, so that's about 1500 pieces of candy we handed out. I'm thinking I'll need about 2000 pieces of candy for next year, to be in the safe zone.
Wish me luck...

Wow, great turn out for halloween Joe! I'd love to have TOTers at my house! I could go crazy with decorating my house then! Also, congrats on qualifying for the degree.
I would love to get midnight syndicates Vampyre! I have one song from that CD..... would love to have the rest, just dont want to pay the full price!
The last 2 nights of our haunt... we went out for drinks after. Sooooo much fun. I had a gal want to take my pic! Since I couldnt wear the werewolf, I made a foam piece that fit on my forehead and down my nose. For last minute it turned out great! People really thought I was creepy! Just the reaction I look for! hehe
Barb sorry to hear it was stressful for you. You need to come to my place next year. I was the first one drinking.
I had a great Halloween. Trying to figure out next years costume now.
LOL! I'm working on next year's right now, too! I figure, the decor's still all out, I'm still in that frame of mind, DESPITE my tv advertiser's desperately futile attempts to make me care about more commercial holidays- time to keep the spirit!
Now, don't you be worrying about lil' old me and the lack of alcohol- made up for that by buying out all the pumpkin ale and Malted Corpse ale at the store the next day... mmmmm
