So happy to be home now, except that I'm cleaning...better than work though. They fired some IT people and now they assume I know how to do some of the duties one of the guys did for a site of ours...they should have thought about this first. Yes I can figure some things out, but I work on 2 of the 3 databases, don't want the 3rd as my responsibility as well. Oh well, maybe it'll be job security.

Hope everyone else had a better Monday!

My day just gets better...I think my washer just broke, based on the noise and the drum inside going all over the place...

Any recommendations on washers, mind as well get a dryer too...2009 is not my year, water heater earlier this year.

Edit: Apparently banging the washer around and then doing a medium load seems to have worked. No more high loads and I have to beat me washer.

Hehe!! We had to get a new frig a while back.... Gave the old one to my son. I told him that every so often it would stop cooling, and then start again.

He opened it up, BANGED on the compressor and it has worked ever since !!!! Some times you just gotta beat em around !!!

Quiet today.

Hope moon's been having a great time. Hope brandy is recovering quickly.

Crazy work, have to keep in my head though if I had down time at work that would be a bad thing in this economy.

keep Brandy in your thoughts I have not heard anything on if she is out of surgery YET..I talked to her this morning.

One of my teeth had a filling fall out, and before I could get to the dentist, it broke. Da#n!I really don';t have the money for this right now, just when I see the light at the end of the tunnel, something else turns up!

goold day on my lil phone here, to let you kno heard from brandy shortly after 11pm est. surgery went well which made me sigh relief as it was a super serious surgery. hope you are all fine this morn. oh not to be negative, but a week ANywhere on limited funds with a teenaGe son....not such a good idea. kid is driving me crazy. not up an hour an "what are we doin today?"

Well as for me work finally announced the shutdown schedule for the rest of the year. Got 6 more weeks without pay to go for the year, but looking on the bright side, I'll be off the whole week of Halloween!!! Been a really lean year working only 4 day weeks and having one unpaid week shutdown per month along with no paid holidays. Feel like I've gotten lots of vacation this year though, just no money to do anything or go anywhere. At least they are allowing us to use vacation days for the last two shutdown weeks (x-mas & new years). That'll still leave me with 11 unused vacation days this year that I'll have to use of lose, so I may soon be working only 3 day weeks. Now I just need to focus that extra time off to prop building.
