LOL Barb, just on Saturdays. They may stop it soon since the post office is suffering from the economy and people paying bills on the Internet.

OK, Weekliers. I will see you all on the flip side of my surgery. I SHOULD be back home by Weds. evening if everything goeas as planned.

Barb - like MM said, we have it "for now"...who knows for how long.
I'd miss Saturday service a bit...but if loosing it meant people keeping jobs, I think it would be a fair trade.

Hauntiholik... Good to know your boys are ok. I'm always worried when I don't know exactly where the kids have run off to myself.

Well as for me, the weekend is over and its good to be back at work. Got the house clean on Friday, had a bunch of people over on Saturday evening, so now I have to clean the house again. But everyone had a good time so it was worth it.

Sunday went up north for a reptile show and to visit my parents. Took the kids out on the waverunner (in between th storms). Crazy weather, lightening, winds and rain one hour, then clear calm blue skies the next, then back to rain, then back to sun every hour it seemed o change. My middle daughter caught about 20 bluegil which of course she wanted me to clean for her to eat (I must be a loving father spend all that effort cleaning 3"- 4" fish). Anyway she at least caught enought for her and my wife to enjoy.

After complaining that nothing ever happens, I had a real scare on saturday, our 9 year old was lounging as usual when, all of a sudden she spits bright red blood from her mouth! Shes crying and spraying blood, i look in her mouth and theres blood at the back of her throat thinking serious internal injury off we go to A and E. Got to see the doctor really quickly and it was a nose bleed, it went down her throat instead of her nose.Huge relief.

Annea, very scary, glad it was only a nose bleed. Not that those are fun.

brandy will be thinking about you.

Pod, the caterer is fun to work for. Haven't had too much work this summer, though. I've never done a Halloween event for her but we usually do a big b'day party in early October for clients who have triplets. Its always a themed event with lots of props. One year we did pirates for them, so that ended up having to be my own Halloween theme since I spent all my time working on their party.

Well, today I'm going to work on some of my props and maybe go to the thrift shop (its half-price day). I should be working in the garden as its a beautiful day. . .but don't quite feel like gardening right now.

Annea, I'm glad it was only a nose bleed. Spitting blood sounds very very scary!

Haunti, yes boys WILL be boys! I found out years later that my boys would take off on their bikes and go all they way downtown! ( 2-3 miles away) Man are they lucky I didn't find our earlier!
