epileptic and reverberant laughter that I almost thought I heard the fiendish echoes.

Interesting mummies, frylock, but I've not seen them before either. It must have either been cold where they were or they're awfully hungry. I'm wondering where I can get a pair of those slippers the first three are wearing?

Annea is correct.
They are from the Museo de las Momias de Guanajuato in Mexico.
The Mummies are the result of a natural mummification process due to the prevailing soil and climatic conditions.
The bodies were dug up when surviving family members (if any) stopped paying for the upkeep of the graves.

epileptic and reverberant laughter that I almost thought I heard the fiendish echoes.
