Hi all,
Just wanted to tell everyone that my son Brandon will be competing in the USA Gymnastics Jr. Olympic National Championships in Cincinnati next month. We just got back from Phoenix AZ where he competed in the Region 1 Championships and qualified to go to the Nationals with an all-around score of 73.25. He's been working his butt off (5-6 hrs a day at the gym) to get to this meet, and he's confident that he'll do well. This will be his first national competition - he's really excited.

Getting to that level takes a huge commitment and a very disciplined life. Congrats to you and your son. Let us know how he does. Will we see him on ESPN???

Thanks, all! He's the busiest person I know, what with high school, his girlfriend(s), gymnastics and all the other stuff that a 14 year old kid does. MHooch, I know that ESPN will be televising some of the competition, probably the Level 10's and Elites, but not sure about the Level 9's.
