    Terrible idea! The Three Stooges are irreplaceable.

    Plus I am not a Jim Carrey fan. I just couldn't take his mugging all through the film!

    Of course I agree with every sane person (which obviously these studio execs aren't) that this is a lousy idea. How can you translate something like the 3 Stooges to today's audiences?

    Love the Stooges. I'm sure that they could play the parts. After all, they are actors. However, I have to question the casting. Larry and Moe each stood about 5' 4". Curly was the big guy of the team at 5' 5". Sean Penn stands 5' 9", Benicio del Toro is 6' 2", and Jim Carrey is around 6' 1½". Thats like Danny Devito playing Abe Lincoln. Well, maybe not quite, but you get my point. It's been tried before. If I want to watch the Stooges, I'll watch the Stooges. As a matter of fact, I do. Woo-woo-woo!
