I'm so excited, I just wanted to share the good news!!! I've been accepted as a foster home for the small dog rescue organization I've adopted from in the past. It's an organization that doesn't have a central location, all rescues stay in foster homes so they can get the socialization they need in order to be adopted.
I've volunteered to take in my first foster who is one of 6 breeder releases. I'm either taking an 8 month old male shih-tzu or a 3 year old male shih-tzu. I've got a pic of both of them and can't wait to meet them!! They will be transported up here next weekend. Woo hoo!

That's awesome, LHALLOW. I had no idea there were those types of programs out there. Sounds like you'll get the chance to meet all sorts of critters. KUDOS TO YOU!!!

Congratulations. Always fun loving new critters..... down side will be if you get too attached to one and it gets adopted.... you'll have to say goodbye.
