I was just sitting here pondering the meaning of something, darn, I'm old I forgot what I was pondering.

Anyway, I was wondering what other interests and hobbies people here have ( gasp and groan) besides Halloween.

I love Halloween, but once in a while I gotta get away from it to recharge the batteries and clear the cob webs.

Myself, I like Halloween most of all, target shooting, reloading, making wooden flowers to stick in my yard, (don't ask)
And assorted things as the mood hits.

How about the rest of you?

I'm old too. My hobbies these days are limited to reading and keeping Tropical Fish. With two small kids, 4 and 9, we've little time for distractions. I'd like to get back into cycling this year.

Well your hobbies tend to change a great deal when dealing with health issues, so for the past several years most of my beloved hobbies have become mostly intrests I dream of returning to one day. I love working out and terribly miss it, but one day I hope to get back to it. I am a total music nut so I listen to a great deal of music and have a vast range in music taste. I'm a devoted animal advocate, with a huge love and respect for all of mother natures creatures. I'm a strong advocate and supporter for the protection of Black Cats, and Bats of all speices. I love gardening and planning new additions to my Mourning Gothic-Victorian-Halloween theme garden. I enjoy Gothic-Victorian Home decorating. I have an unhealthy addiction to collecting Candle holders and Candelabras, mainly vintage and antique reporductions in Antique Brass and Wrought Iron. I love watching movies although I don't get a lot of time to watch them. Enjoy ebay shopping as it's the only way I can get a lot of my home decor items. I love working on my hot rod "just got my new exhaust tips put on ~Sizzle~ they look sooo hot"! I have a 1981 Firebird Forumla that's been my pride and joy for 17 years. Next project will be to buy and restore a 1957 Chevy Pick-up And if I really get rich then a hearse. I love walking especally at night as I can't be in the sun or heat now, UV allergy, or so they are saying at this point in my journey.
I love candle burning and meditating, although again I haven't had a great deal of time for it as life has been living in SPeicalists and hospitals which really bums you out zapping you of any life force inside you.
I collect Angels and Gargoyles but I' VERY FUSSY about what I collect. I"m a huge Windstone Edition Collector, but again ONLY a certain line of their products which I pretty much have them all now. I love going to concerts, art collecting especally Pre-Raphaelite and Victoria Frances. I'm a gun lover of a different sort and terribly miss shooting,. I enjoy and miss Martial Arts. I'm a huge vegan-vegatarian lifestyle nut. I enjoy reading and learning about Forensic Pathology, Paranormal Phenomena, Intellectualism, Psychology and it's subdisiplines Ontology-Theology. always enhancing my awareness about human sexuality and physic lore to immortality. I enjoy healing Gems, Creativity, and believe in muplitle Realities. I love NIghtshade clothing and beautiful Gothic clothing although hard to get in my part of the woods so I pretty much drool over them on UK based sites,lol. I'm huge in Metaphyical Art studies and self healing. Enjoy reading and learning about Vampireology and pranic energy and blood systems. I find Mysticism enjoyable. I'm a huge recycling nut and earh based lover-preservationist. I love Dark Erotica and SSC-BDSM, cemetaries, dancing, mythology. Other interests include reading about Philosophyof mind-philosophy of perception, psychopathology and charka systems, old castles and olf places, kama sutra.

As you can see I have a vast array of interests, which are mostly just that at this time as most of my hobbies are on the back burner for now. So there you have it, me pretty much in a nut shell, whichout being shy about who I am. ALl in all I'm just a black cat lovin, cross carryin, bat wearin night time creepin kind of gal with a kinky internal wiring system which doesn't mean I'm broken-just hardwired differently. And besides sometimes the only way to stay sane is to go a little crazy in my books. ALways say, what doesn't kill me only makes me stranger,lol.
ANd I'm also a huge believer in being kinder then necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle. And when you can come to understanding this you become one of the luckiest people as you begin to realize that mankind cannot enslave the soul that by wisdom and understanding had gained power and will use both to love and forgive thy enemy, and by doing so you conqure all.

How refreshing it is to see people saying they're old, and not have them be in their 30s or less. About the only hobby I have that can't be twisted into something that is halloween related is collecting animation cels from tv and movies. Nothing particularly valuable, but just from shows or movies I like. Wizards, Inspector Gadget, Scooby Doo, etc. Oh, And I collect Master Replicas Force FX lightsabers.

Playing with firearms,working on my 63 Nova and riding the motorcycle.Collections may suprise you,knives and anything to do with skulls.

Road cycling; training for and competing in sprint triathlons; gardening; hiking; camping and photography

One hobby or so to speak is I really do enjoy Daily radom acts of kindness, I get a great deal of pleasure out of surpiring people with the thought & hope that I made their day just a little bit easier, brighter and that they were thought of. I usually go to Timmy's for my Camomile tea and pay or whatever the person behind me ordered as long as it is within reason. I find a lot of pleasure in stopping when I see someone who looks like they could use a hand, and talking with our homeless. I enjoy donating things to people if I no longer have a need for it and I know they would enjoy it, and I love to surprise people with gifts And hey skullboy, I too love knives and have a small collection.
And I love to spend time with my children "feline". I enjoy travelling the world "although at this time it's on-line" but still I get to see some beautiful places. And love working and being around animals.

Nice to see we have a few others into gardening

I collect videogames and videogame systems I have everything from pong to playstation2,and probably 1000 games or more
I like to read mostly fiction like lord of the rings
I also collect knives and display them right above my computer..so If I die on the comp youll know something fell LOL
I collect and restore vintage bar games and videogames..I'm the only trailer in my court that has a bowling alley in it (bragging rights ) LOL
I collect spooky town and nightmare before christmas stuff
and i like to cut my grass in the summer while my wife does the gardening
and the worst hobby of all..this darn computer..most of us are guilty of this

I just started trap shooting a few months ago, and love it! I would like to get involved with archery as well, but waiting for nicer weather for that.

Love gardening, classic movies and jazz. And I only feel old at 30 sometimes because no one around my age likes the same things as me!

I love to read, I will read most genre's, as long as written well, but love mysteries, I adore animals, and little kids, love camping and walking on my beloved Lake Michigan shore line, and the woods, also cemetaries. I love gardening, but am finding less time to keep up with it as I should after working all day, (because I really AM old! LOL). I just got a new bike so hope to take up that this summer
