I'd like to know who Jack the Ripper was and who killed Jonbenet Ramsey.

Annea, this is a great thread idea!
Hmmm, definitely Jack the Ripper as well, that story fascinates me.....I'd also like for the identity of the Zodiac killer to be solved...who murdered Lizzie Borden's parents...who killed Elizabeth Short ('The Black Dahlia')...
Yep, now I'll be thinking about this-will probably come back to add more.

On a more local note, I'd like to find Jimmy Hoffa.

Prob. Jonbenet Ramsey, Natalie Holloway and the disappearance of Stacy Peterson (although I think we all have a good idea of who is behind that)

As far as murders go the Black Dahlia. I have a weird obsession with that. JonBenet Ramsey. Any unsolved murder I'd like to see solved, especially crimes against children. And for non- violent crimes, I really want to know what jackass stole the ruby slippers.

wow, ok this topic can get a tad emotional me for. Let's see, Elizabeth Short " The Black Dahlia" and The Boy in the Box "America's unknown Child" an older case that is just so sad.
On a far more personal level. BC'S Highway of Tears Murders. And BC'S Vanished. In particular "Candace Shpeley".
And since a picture can be woth a thousand words here's a link in case you ever see any of these people.

a GOOD book on the Ripper murders...
THE NIGHT OF THE RIPPER by Robert Bloch.
SOUND familiar? This is the guy who wrote PSYCHO. He was in the area at the time of the Gein murders and the cops paid him a visit and asked WHO had leaked him confidential information...he told them he had IMAGINED the details when he started to think what could have happened to create such a guy.
THE NIGHT OF THE RIPPER has an American doctor visiting England and gets caught up in the murders trying to solve them. He also interacts with real people from the time, like The Elephant Man, Oscar Wilde, and Arthur Conan Doyle. The atmosphere and the streets of London England and the murders are VIVIDLY described. This is a warning.
