Well, I was a sad weekend here in Grand Junction. This makes me not even want to put up my display this year.

Gunman approaches, fires, reloads; police look for link between attacker, couples

Wow - that is truly disturbing. My thoughts go out to anyone who knew them, and I hope the police can work out the motive for that attack.

I think, however, you should keep your display out this year, as the town's going to need all the levity / uplifting it can get.
Unless there's something in your display that might force people to think of this incident, I think keeping it up will help a little bit in keeping people's spirits up.

No, there's nothing in my display that would lean towards that. I tend to stear clear of really gory type stuff anyway. Terry Fine was my bosses dentist though I didn't know him personally, these were all prominent people in this town, it just makes no sense. Thanks for the encouraging words.

Crazy stuff! Grand Junction is a nice place, I have some relatives there.
