10:15 and no one posted on the weekly yet!?!?!?!?!

I figured this month deserves it's own weekly, no?

Took the baby to a pumpkin patch yesterday. Got some cute pictures. Bought him a baby pumpkin and a large one for me. I'm still struggling with the spirit but I'm trying!

A pumpkin patch - so proud of you for taking the youngster to one! Bringing them up right...
and hey, if you don't have the spirit, at least you have us!

This past weekend was prepping for our big, annual neighborhood garage sale - one of our local realtors has been doing it for the last 15 years, it always has plenty of advanced advertisement, and our house is four doors down from one of the 2 entrances to our track, so we always have a huge number of people stopping to look and buy.
It's also another reason why I don't put out too much in the way of Halloween yard props until the end of the month - the last thing I want to put up with is constantly telling people all the really cool stuff is not for sale.
(hell...it's come to the point that I need to keep my garage door closed, as people will just walk into my garage, and start fiddling with stuff or asking how much something is...and I swear, things have disappeared before)

Hi & Bye everyone!

I don't want to be at work, would rather continue putting Halloween stuff out.

My friend who's mom has leukemia and they found a donor is not doing so great. It came back and they don't know if they can do the transplant now cause she can't have anymore chemo. I baked brownies for her and her family, but she didn't come to work today cause they were finding out today, so I've got them here waiting for her.

Ugh, it is tough being back at work today after such an amazing long weekend!! It's going to be very hectic today playing catch up, but oh well.
