ever done or said anything in bad taste ? or is it just me? okay i have a strange,dark sense of humor and i can be caustic at times, but i have a very few close friends who, one might think, would know me well enough to get me. i was at the dinner table last night and the subject of halloween came up and knowing me and my obsession so well one of my friends remarked that i had been awfully quiet and restrained this year , so far on the subject of my favorite holiday regarding costume etc... when they were finished teasing me i looked up at them and said very seriously " well actually i decided to kill myself before then so there isnt any point " and the room erupted as though i had thrown a m80 on the table..... okay so maybe im way worse with people than i thought... anyone else ever made a joke that in hindsight was in very poor taste?

Ouch! I'm sure that one came off wrong. I think I would get a chuckle out of it because, I hear my mother saying it all the time. Kind of numb that way. Most of my friends know I'm not socially acceptible even with them. lol I tend to tell people what I think before I think. My humor is on the sarcastic side and I grew up with a mother just like Rosanne Bar.
The last one that I can really remember that got someone pissed was when I told a friend of mine that another friend wasn't interested in them. I think I was having a bad day because my other friends told me I handled it poorly, even for me. I didn't think it was that bad. I just told him that my friend really doesn't like the plump nelly types. He didn't talk with me for over 5 years.

of course i wasnt serious in any way.... i just wanted to be obnoxious because of how they were teasing me about my halloween stuff.
