Is it due to the stations not having any fuel, or simply due to the cost being prohibitive?
So far, no troubles here (Southern California).Hell is an eternity of getting up at 4am to nothing but decaf coffee...
2009 photos and 2008 photos ...uhmmm...and what I have evolving...

gas prices spiked here in MI all the sudden, not a normal spike a BIG spike, so its really hard to afford it right now...

And the best advice you may ever get is never to go out…at night.

I agree, it's just plain rip off. Anything happens and the price jumps 20 cents per gallon. With Ike it went from $3.49 to $3.79 yesterday. I'm really glad I only live about a mile from my lowe's store. lol Unfortunately it's a 45 min. drive to my boat for the weekends.

Do you mean as far as supply goes? If so, no we're able to fill up.
The price, that's another story! I just had to fill up at lunch and gas was $4.22. I have an hour drive (on a good day) each way to work so I'm starting to wonder if I'm actually losing money coming to work each day."Not everything is strippers and booze and buckets of blood. Why do you guys have buckets of blood?"

The gas pumps are empty in this area, I thought we would get some today but, no such luck. I think if all these backwards southerns didn't suck it all up last Friday because of Ike, there might have been some for idiots like me who didn't want to wait in the long lines going around the block and thought, oh I will just pay alittle extra on Saturday. That will teach me. Sorry I am just pissed off.

Over the Summer gas was up to $5 a gallon here. It has since dropped to $3.90. I want to see it go to atleast $2.99 a gallon. It would help the decrease the price of lumber.
Build it and they will come.

$4.15 in my area, but we do have supply as far as I know. The price is just ridiculous. These prices are going to bring the economy to a screeching halt sooner or later if things don't change.
Sure, many people can afford it and don't care, but the price of gas raises the prices of everything you buy in a store due to increased transportation costs. We haven't felt the full impact of this mess yet, but it's coming and it's going to hurt a large portion of the population. How's that for depressing? Happy Tuesday everyone!
