My sister knows I haven't had the best year, you would think it was a great year with all the milestones I've had, but not so much.

Anyways, she gave me my annual Halloween gift, she buys me a Halloween gift every year like it's my bday. She got me Halloween hand towels and Halloween soaps.

She also then tells me she's off Friday Sept. 26 and asked if I could take off that day because she wants to take me to a costume shop by her and look around and wants me to show her around Spirit. She also said we should go to the candy shop by her that is very old school with candy they have everything and she's pretty sure they'll have a Halloween setup then.

She feels bad I won't be doing my usual Halloween display this year so my traditions are going to be started over this year and I'm kinda sad about that so she's doing as much Halloween related stuff for me. She appreciates Halloween, but doesn't get why I'm so obsessed so it's really nice she's totally supportive this year, she's even getting into it and is putting a graveyard out this year.

Awww MM that is sooo sweet. My sis knows my obsession too and keeps an eye out for me.

So good to hear your sister's looking out for you on this one, MM...sometimes siblings don't.

Awwww, I love a good sister story. My 2nd husband died when Katie was 9 months old, suddenly. It was a big shock to say the least. The body wasn't even out of the house yet, there she stood on my porch with her suitcases in hand. Moved in with us, helped take care of Katie while I worked (she was still in college then) and stayed with us for 4 years, Only left us when she got married. I never could have gotten along without her, she had my back, big time. She is more than my best friend, she's my sissy. No body loves me like my sissy does. She's the most wonderful woman I've ever known.

Man, makes me wish my sisters weren't such pain in the a**es. You guys are REALLY lucky. Like Joe said it is DEFINITLY not always that way with siblings. Trust me on this one. I am the oldest of six and believe me...............you guys are really lucky.

she sounds wonderful. I have two sisters - we've got closer as we've got older & are great friends now. spend lots of weekends together & our kids get on great. I love having a close family.

witchie it was the same with my sister and me, I couldn't stand her when we were younger, I told her if we weren't sisters I wouldn't care about her at all or even be friends with her. We are complete opposites, but it works now. We're exactly 22 months apart and now both being in our late 20's we're pretty much the same age.
