We need a president that knows what it's like to be poor. Knows what will help
us and what will hurt us! That's Obama. McCain doesn't have a clue! He's
voted against raising the minimun wage. He wants to raise the retirement age!
If he gets to be president look for things to get steadily worse the next four
years! Unless he decides to go to war with Russia....then none of of will be
around to worry about anything! And those lucky enough to survive will have
to try to survive in a nuclear wasteland!

Obama is not equipped. Being poor doesn't make you qualified.
Minimum wage is contrary to everything American. Notice that unemployment went up with the latest hike? Small businesses can't afford it, and if they do...all they do is pass along the cost to the consumer. This is why so much stuff goes overseas... minimum wage is what the market says, not what the law says.
The retirement age is already going up, and it will keep going up if we don't fix SS. Look it up.
Obama wants to raise taxes....errr...redistribute wealth. He lives off the fact that most Americans think $250k is rich. It's a lot of money, but NOT when you factor in the millions of people that operate small businesses (like my dad) that have revenues over that amount, but net much less. Tax the small business owner more, and unemployment goes up. Small business is still the major employer in this country.
But hey, to each their own. I'm not a huge McCain fan, but in this election it's a no-brainer. Obama sounds great because he promises giveaways, a democrat staple. The reality is there is no free lunch.

Outside of partisanship, and nothing more than being contrarian simply because they belong to one party or the other, the Republican party and the Democratic party have become essentially the same thing.
Honestly, the only thing separating them is in fact partisan school-yard bickering. They defy each other in congress simply on the grounds of being either Republican or Democrat, even at the cost of progress for their constituents.
So, it really doesn't matter too much which one wins - we'll still have the same problems, and the same Senators and Representatives looking to line their own pockets, and nothing much will change.
It's amusing, as we're supposedly a multi-party political system, yet we only have 2 that ever win, and other than the names, they're becoming impossible to tell apart.Hell is an eternity of getting up at 4am to nothing but decaf coffee...

I'm an Obama supporter. And having read this I think you stated everything very well, no major attacks on anyone. I actually really respected your opinion. Not a fan of your avatar though

No matter what, who ever wins the election they have A LOT on their plate. I just hope this Change talk by both nominees is something they can achieve a little of, we need some change and major improvements.

I'm just glad I can't vote. I don't think it's much of a choice. But then, is it ever? It was never much of a choice in Canada either.
Oh look, another glorious morning. Makes me SICK!

Im voting for Obama. Yeah he has his flaws but Id rather pick him then Mccain and his witch of a runner vp Sarah Palin. Im an animal lover and when I heard that she supports aerial shootings on wolves and bears, my heart sank. She's a horrible women. She wants to take the polar bear off the ESL because she feels it gets in the way of oil drilling. Please give me a break! Plus she opposes abortion on rape and incest victims because she feels a life should be able to live. Come on! This is so bad for the people and the wildlife. If Mccain wins the presidency he most likely will not live long enough cause he's in his 70's and he's loaded with alot of health issues. So guess who steps in, Sarah Palin. It makes me loose sleep to know what were all up against in the future. Thanx for posting I needed to vent!
