I hope this is the right place for this, if it isn't advanced apology.

This is a tip for keeping up with new posts here at HalloweenForum. It is a pretty sweet tip, if I do say so myself.

I use Google Reader. That is a web based RSS feed viewer. This tip could work with ANY feed viewer, but I like Google Reader, so there.

Using a reader, you can subscribe to Halloween Forum and get every new post in ANY category sent to you. Now it will not send you replies to posts, which would quickly become unwieldy, but it does send the first posts of NEW threads. I use it to keep up with the forum, then click through to reply to posts I'm interested in. Then I use the subscription settings to keep up with threads I'm interested in.

If you haven't used an RSS Feed Viewer, I highly suggest you give Google Reader a try. If you already use Google Reader or another feed viewer, I highly suggest you read Halloween Forum through it. You won't miss a new post, you can still participate in threads, and you can keep up a LOT easier.

Right now I am the only subscriber to Halloween Forum through Google Reader. But I have to say, I love it. I'm much more active on the site because of it.

I've never used a RSS reader. I'd like to view this through my my.yahoo page where you can put a RSS feed, but I can't find the halloween rss feed link. Is there a link I can paste into the RSS reader or a clickie somewhere in the forum I can click on?
