Thread: What will you do when the zombies come calling?

Let's have some fun! I recently saw one of many, many zombie movies and I
wondered, what would I do if that actually happened? First, I find me a house
that could best defended. It would have thick, solid wood doors and ground
windows that high off the ground. It would have an attic with pull up stairs so
I'd have somewhere to retreat to. Then I'd stock it with everything. Top on my
list would be food, weapons, and portable generators! After that would be
books and dvds. Finally, I'd raid the hardware stores for all the chicken fence
I could lay my hands on and lay it out in the front and back yard and attach it
to the generators, then juice it everytime the zombies came around! Since
electricity would travel through the entire body and destroy the brain, you
could take out dozens at a time instead of one at a time with a bullet to the
brain! Of course, in case I had to abandon my "fort" I'd have a vehicle they
couldn't break into easily, nor would I hestitate to run them down like they do
in the movies! Now, let's hear from you? What would you do?

It has such helpful tips as - weapons, you don't have to reload swords!
Vehicles - Dirt bike is the best mode of transport - fuel efficient, fast, and off-road (important when the roads are blocked with abandoned cars.
Head north! - the cold should slow down a zombies movements - head for the cold and make camp there.
Travel alone!

Really though, good read if you're into zombie-sci-fi sorta thing.

Okay so I would baracde my windows and doors. Baracade my dogs and In the attic, have all the weapons and survial gear alreaddy (im a military buff). Lot's of food,water, batteries, flashlights, exctra.

I would also have the attic window not boarded because I would then have a zipline to go to the tree fort that's way up in the air.

It's not murder if there alreaddy dead. :-)

Well, if I was like almost every character in the movies, I'd freak out, and wonder what the heck they were and then blindly stumble into a mob of them accidentally and attempt to get away by running in high heels and then falling...

Oh, and I would have no idea how to kill them - even though every zombie movie in existence says how to.

Even though it didn't work out real well in Shawn of Dead, I think I might still choose a pub/bar. If I am going to die, at least I can die with a pint.

Oh, wait, I won't die. Crap, I will become a zombie. Ok, I will have to rethink that plan.

I've always wondered why the people in those movies even want to fight and live. I'd have to kill my self first thing or die of fright wondering when one of them was gonna get me!

they have food, guns, clothes and most stores have a set up that you can build a simple fort type system to keep out of zombies reach.

I would break into a few choruses of "Thriller" and while they are all dancing, make a speedy getaway

I wouldn't worrie about the zombies as much as I would the living who always rape kill & pillage the first chance they get when society crumples..
you should have every ting ready now, not wait till you have to fight the hords of so called civilized people to get it,,,
you could always trust a zombie to be a zombie..
a person might b smart but crowds are stupid & irrational
