Just a quick update to everyone.....I'm officially done with chemo (for now)! Hooray! I was on it almost exactly one very long year. Basically, it stopped working so my Dr. said let's try something else. The "something else" happens to be ONE PILL a day....no side effects at all so far, and I'm feeling so energized and happy. I'm hoping my CT scans in 2 months show improvements so I can continue with just the daily pill. Anyway..thanks to everyone for all the support and private messages of encouragement :-)

Congrats on this. I hope you do really well.
A friend of ours was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer this spring and it had already spread to his lungs. He doesn't have a very good outlook at all. He did one bout of chemo and they want him to do another one. My other half and I are going to do the pancreatic bike ride on the 13th and are raising money for it.
Hope things turn out for the better for you and you don't have to do any more chemo.

Don't forget to keep up with everything else that will keep you healthy, so you can defeat what remains.Hell is an eternity of getting up at 4am to nothing but decaf coffee...
