Hi Friends!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've spent a few minutes getting myself reacclimated to the board and (shhh... just between you and me) I feel a little heart-swell at being here again. I do love you all so but, things just start to happen and I find myself neglectful.

I did finally get that guitar I said I was going to get and I absolutely have found a new life in me. I've been practicing 2 to 3 hours everyday. My fingers are raw... my wrist is cramping and the circles under my eyes have never been darker. Here's a pic of the first day I got it.......



Believe me... somehow, I don't look like this anymore. I don't know how Succy hasn't killed me by now... THAT is love, I tell ya! I'm 45 years old and I've suddenly gotten the 'BUG' of a 15 year old. And I FEEL like I'm 15 again!

I know that when I have some free time at the computer, I SHOULD check in with you all but instead, I do things like this....

All in all, I feel like I'm making pretty good progress. I force myself to learn something new everytime I sit down to play. Thaks to TABS, I'm finding things to be pretty easy. Here's a list of songs that I've been working on and I'm good enough now for you to recognize them... some I'm better at than others but, hey... I haven't even been playing for two months yet...

AAAAAAAAAAAANyway..... About Halloween stuff....
We've been seeing a lot of new things out this year, and I REALLY like the stuff 'Yankee Candle' has put out this year!!!!

I do NOT like the new Halloween 'Barbie'!!!! Everything that should be ORANGE is HOT PINK!!!!! and it's JUST PUTRID!!!!! I WON'T be getting her this year.

I just got a raise
The weather here has been SOOOOOOOOO unbearably HOT... but there are signs of the Fall that will soon be upon us.. this is good. I LOVE the fall and all that comes with it!!!!!!!!

I joined a guitar forum.... I did some searching and I THOUGHT it would be the best one b ut CRIMANY!!!!!!!!!! EVERYBODY LOOOOOOKS but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOone responds... it's just lame!!!!

Yes, lots of headaches, but lots of love. And I believe that what goes around comes around and since the 70th anniversary of Oz is swiftly approaching I know a lot will be coming around my way. It all will even out. But yes, lots of headaches.

OEJ: What a treat to log on and see a post from you!!! I haven't been around as much as I'd like...life keeps interfering, durn it!!

Oh, and Back in Black is one of my all time favorites!!!

I haven't seen the Halloween Barbie for this year yet, hot pink? I don't buy them every year, it just depends if I like the outfit or not.

Glad to hear you're both doing well, and OEJ has found a new passion and managed to incorporate Halloween in to it even :P I like Pumpkin Patch #1 especially.

Slightly O/T yes, the Target Halloween Barbie is kind of gross. I'm not a fan of pink anyway, not much, well sometimes, but it's just not Halloween. They at least could have made it a cool purple. But there's usually two Halloween Barbies a Target exclusive and I think one shows up at grocery stores or something so we'll see how she looks.

OEJ. Hey Buddy. Long time no speak. I've been really bad with keeping up with the posting thing. Work and family are really dominating. But I have been writing a "Group Story" that is has turned into a single author story. Since no one has joined in...oh well. It's under the literature thread if you're interested.

Those guitars are very cool. You are never to old to get into making your own music. Rock away my friend.

Hey OEJ...I envy you man... Thats something I have always wanted to do. Jam out on a guitar. I just can't do it. I watch my 7 yr old son wail away on guitar hero, but i can't hit 3 buttons at the same time, let alone strum on some strings!!
