There were 972 graduating sailors. Needless to say we are very proud of him. He is currently in Gulfport MS for his A school training and then plans to go to OCS.
    It was a beautiful ceremony!

We are also very proud of your son. I can't think of any profession more valuable to us than the defense of all of the freedoms that we take for granted every day. And OCS is a great way to make the most out of his enlistment. (It's not bad on the pay check, either) A very wise young man. Congratulations Dad.

Thanks for the kind words. He's always wanted to serve. My dad was in the Navy during WWII and I'm thinking this was the motivation for him. My middle son who is a senior this year, wants to join when he graduates.
