What are you currently reading, or what is the last book you read?

I just finished “Sleaze Artists: Cinema at the Margins of Taste, Style, and Politics” edited by Jeffrey Sconce.

Recently finished Dead Witch Walking by Kim Harrison, about to start the next in the series, The Good The Bad and The Undead. AND at the same time, the Virginia Wine Gazette and Chile Pepper (The Zesty Life) magazines...plus MS Access and PL/SQL manuals...and there's this calculus textbook I should take a look at before the semester starts...

I am reading the 4th installment into A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin called 'A Feast For Crows'. It's an amazing series.

As usual, I have three or four things on the go..
EXTRAORDINARY POPULAR DELUSIONS AND THE MADNESS OF CROWDS.(MacKay) .Nothing ever changes, and this book proves it...stupid and strange fads that folks were into years ago..some harmless...(people running up in a group and making fun of someone's hat and then joining in the same group to find the next person) some not (the Mississippi and South Sea bubbles...investors lost millions)
THESE BARREN LEAVES (Huxley)...Nothing ever changes, part two...the rich and famous of the 20's/30's were the same as paris hilton and Brad and Angelina are now...vacation in France and Italy and play mind games with each other...know those specialty magazines that are everywhere today?? Dogs, Cats, woodworking, fitness? They even make fun of that...with one of the house guests as an editor of a rabbit breeding magazine
CATCH-22 (Heller) I used to have two copies of this thing..one at work, one at home...funny and scary and the perfect (dis)organization book...

    but...

they all go to the side when the library calls and tells me to pick up my book on hold...THE PROSECUTION OF GEORGE W BUSH ON THE CHARGE OF MURDER by Vince Bugliosi...YOU ALL remember Vince, he wrote HELTER SKELTER and prosecuted Manson, he doesn't NEED to write this, he could just sit home and count his money, but he HAS, and agree or disagree, you just HAVE to read what he has to say...

The last book I read was the scariest book of all: How I Helped O.J. Get Away with Murder.
Don't know how that guy can sleep at night even now.

I'm on the waiting list for the Twilight book Eclipse and the wait is killing meeeeeeeeeeeee.
