Just wondering where ya all have been to vacation. I'v been to most of the us states except, hawwiie,alaska, oregon and washington.

I'v been to the black hills of SD many times and just love it there.

What's one spot in the us that would be worth going to?

There are so many more than just one spot worth going in the US. One that you have to see in person is the Grand Canyon simply because you can't really grasp how big it really is unless you see it. But there are soooo many other great places!

The Ocoee River in TN for some great rafting
Pensacola, FL for the most beautiful beaches and water in the Gulf of Mexico

I loved San Diego (might feel different had I been driving). I also love Disney World. I really would love to go to NY again. If I didn't live by Chicago I'd list that as a place I'd want to vacation, guess I could if I got a hotel room in Chicago.

Okay, I have never been west before. Actually, the farthest I've been is Ohio....and that's still in the eastern time zone! Ugh! We don't travel much. We usually go to NC, either the OBX or Asheville area. This year there was an expo in Harrisburg, PA. I've never been to PA so hubby and I spent 3 nights in the Lancaster area and explored the Amish country. Loved it there. Didn't get to see as much as we wanted to so we are planning to go back. On our way home we stopped in Gettysburg. Plan to go back there, too, hopefully this October.

There are many, many places that I'd like to go but we have so many responsibilities that we can't be gone for long PLUS the fact that hubby refuses to fly. We'd both love to go to Alaska sometime and also hit Arkansas (diamond field) and Nevada (opal mine) or is it Arizona, I can never remember! I'm trying to get him into traveling north (I hate the heat of the south!!) and PA was a big step. Next I'd like to go to Vermont or Maine....we'll see.

I have been to Florida 2 times ....want to go back to Disney when baby gets older. other then that Florida to damn HOT & HUMID.

Been to Palm Springs Cali. Loved it very nice until we went to Mexico (not so nice)

Been to the Jersey shore a 1,000 times (not a beach person)

Honeymoon...Best trip ever Drove to Salem Mass. for Halloween...so much to see and do I want to move up there!!!!! Then went and stayed in Boston Mass. for another week very cool town to but very expensive..

2nd anniversary went to Gettysburg Pa. another awesome town all the history and a very friendly town really loved it there too.

But as some stated there is so much to see and do all over the place I would like to travel more

I'v been the Grand Canyon. It wasent that immpressive.
LOVE Red Rocks Ampitheter. Going there again for the Dierks Bentley concert on the 29th.
I would love to go the Carls Bad Caverns. They look so neat!

I love just everywhere I go:
Grand Canyon, Mt. Zion Nat. park--beautiful, Mt. St. Helens, pugent sound,
all over Arizona, The Badlands, S. D. ; Siesta Key Florida, all the neat little towns
between Mexico City and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (that was in '83 while I was in H.S.)
I just want to go everywhere I can.......I will be to Alaska before I die!!

I want to see the Mountains of Nebraska!!!!! LOL
