Love the pics, Mal. Makes me want to go on a nice long hike, but it's just TOO HOT right now to enjoy it.
My family loves going up to Helen, GA and hike on the 2 mile trails that end at some beautiful waterfalls.

Those are wonderful pictures, Mal, looks like the kids had a great time! I've never had the pleasure of visiting a Redwood forest, but would LOVE to one day! I'm not going to CA again without it!!! Glad y'all had a good trip!

If you ever get to Ca you've got to visit Big Basin. The first state park and most beautiful redwoods park. The waterfalls are part of a 10+ mile hike. I've never seen the upper falls in person so I'm glad Hubby and the kids have taken lots of pics for me.
