    Default PS3 in the mail! – 07-12-2008,09:25 PM


    Ok, so about 2 weeks ago my ps3 broke. (by broke i mean sony made some faulty ps3's, tons of people have the problem. What happens is theres an electronical switch on the motherboard that tells the driver if a disc is blueray/game/normal dvd. Well what happened is the switch fried making it to where i can only watch dvd, no games or blueray) Welp Sony just sent an email stating that they ran the tests and are replacing my ps3. Woot.

    So anyone here have a ps3?
    I do wish we could chat longer, but... I'm having an old friend for dinner. Bye.

    my buddy had the same thing happen to his . they told him to send it to them to be fixed...at his cost of course right after he paid 450.00 for it .he was real mad

    yeah i would upgrade by far.

    Hmm they made him pay for shipping? They should have covered it.

    Got my ps3 back today. They didnt replace it which I am glad so I didnt lose any data. They just replaced the electronic switch board. Sony is doin good on customer service I believe.
