Well I finally made it back from our vacation. 2 days in Atlanta, and 6 days in Gatlinburg Tennessee. Have to say for our first family vacation outside of the state, it was great.
Went to Atlanta Motor Speedway and the Smokey Mountains. Weather couldn't have been better. Never got above 85 all week!
Good to be back, and I go to Michaels today find their Halloween stuff out!
Great to be back...now where did I leave off on my props?

Hey, CMG, great to have ya back around, man!! Glad to know you guys had so much fun!!
What all did y'all get to do in Gatlinburg? We've been there several times..the aquarium is beautiful, the Ripley's Museum is very cool, that haunted house and car museum they have is excellent...delicious fudge, Mmmmmm....lots of things to spend too much money on, in other words.
Hope you found some good stuff at Michael's too.

Gatlinburg was great... did the Aquarium, Wax museum, Guinness Book of Records, Star Cars. Didn't do Ripley's Haunted House...it looked soo cool, but my youngest was too young (and afraid) but nevertheless we had a great time...All the free samples of fudge...perfect. We even made it to Pigeon Forge.
Dukefest at the Atlanta Motor Speedway was great. Friday night drag races were awesome.
I just wish you woulda warned me about Atlanta traffic. As we were leaving Atlanta Sunday morning we were in a car wreck. 7 lanes down to 4 and 75mph down to 45mph. Some jacknut decided to shoot in front of everyone and cut into the lane...everyone slowed down except for the person behind us. She hit us hard! Kids freaked out but were O.K. Girl that hit us totalled her car but was alright.
Atlanta police are something else. I'll just leave it at that. Gives the kids a good story from vacation though.
Finding a way back into my prop making...trying to figure out if I should start another project or actually finish the 4 I already got started! Why rule the living when you can control the dead.

Oh my God, man, I'm very glad y'all are alright!
Um, yeah.....Atlanta traffic makes me wish for guided missiles on the hood of our truck...sorry I didn't warn ya about that.
I HATE I-75 with a purple passion, and the Atlanta cops...hmmmm...all I know is they're pretty sneaky. Don't know where in the world the one was hiding that one day he nailed me for doing 92 in a 70.
Have fun with your props, glad y'all had a good time down here!

Glad you made it out okay.
Atlanta traffic is why I spent 2 years looking for a job anywhere else. The problem is, the best jobs are there and that's why everybody drives there. Nobody lives in town, so the traffic is horrible. You can't live in town because the natives will rob you and/or murder you. That's why Atlanta cops are the way they are. It's a tough job. Either dealing with a stabbing at da club or writing speeding tickets to folks commuting to or from work.
PS, I got a ticket last week with my family in the car. In traffic. Haven't had a ticket in 5 years, drive this route every day...was 3 miles from home... the cop didn't care. He did me a "favor" by writing the ticket for less MPH. Jerk.
