Who else is psyched to see this movie?
I can't wait for this movie, don't think I've been this excited since Batman Begins, possibly more now.
Not sure if I'll make it to the midnight showing, but maybe the 3:05am, that's only 2 hours before I have to get up anyways.
RIP Heath Ledger who looks Oscar worthy in this.
I wish I had taken the time to go into Chicago to watch this being filmed last summer since I'm only 40 minutes from the city. It was fun last summer watching the local Chicago news to see what they were filming.

We'll be there!!
We've been following the superhero movies all summer, and this one looks like it will be highly entertaining as well!

I want to see it, but I don't think I can. I had this same feeling with the Crow. It was years before I finally watched it and when I did I just felt miserable the whole time. It does look like a really good movie though.

This is one that I think I might have to wait to see at home, because I really liked Heath Ledger- I love his work, especially Knight's Tale, and it will be so sad to watch this. Especially when they say this was his best work yet and a pivotal role in his stepping into a new category of acting skill.

What's nice about Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, is that they are following the original comics. It's rare when they do that, but it's finally the correct story!

Hey MM, long time no chat!!
I had to log on for this post! Super excited to see this movie. I remember last summer they blew up some abandoned bldg. in the burbs close to where I work and used the footage for the movie."Not everything is strippers and booze and buckets of blood. Why do you guys have buckets of blood?"

Depends a little on your definition of "original comics", there.
Begins was based on the Year One arch by Frank Miller. Don't know about Dark Knight.
But, it's nice to see movies FINALLY staying closer to their comic roots, I'll agree there. Iron Man certainly did, I've heard the same of the Hulk, and it looks like Dark Knight is following the updated story of Batman. (not the old 40's versions, but the newer ones after the big DC reboot)
Is it too late to make some decent Xmen movies now?
