O.K. so If you dont mind I would like to take a minute here to well brag about my oldest son. He is 16 and plays guitar as some of my closer friends here already know. Well anyway he had an opportunity to play with his uncle at a bar last night called Omalleys. (no he didnt drink) Well anyway. He got up and did a few songs. One of them he actually sang to as well it was Jimmy Hendrix's Fire! He has only sung in front of people one other time before. Gets up there as the song starts says " here goes nothin" and starts. He starts singing and playing this song like he's been doing this for 20 years. I couldnt believe it, the crowd ofcourse was going crazy to see this 16 year old not only sing but do all the solo's in the song. I know for a fact that Jimmy himself was groovin in his grave
Then the other guitarist who by the way is an old rocker about 50 looks, they all are by the way, they all look like Keith Richards, well anyway then the other guitarist walks up to him in the middle and starts like having a duel with him with the guitar. Well let me just tell you that kid more than held up his own and I didnt know whether to smile or cry. I was so freaking proud of him. O.K. Im done just wanted to share that story.

Linus: You've heard about fury and a woman scorned?
Charlie Brown: Yes, I guess I have.
Linus: Well that is nothing compared to the fury of a woman who has been cheated out of tricks or treats!

Thats wonderful Spook! Does your son want to be a professional musician? My son is a drummer and has been for ten years. He started around the same age as your boy.
We'll have to post brag vids. I have one of Futronimus and his band.

Actually he started when he was 9, so thats why now he is so good, that and the fact that all he does is play the guitar 27-7
He wants to be a Doctor of all things. He's smart, like taking high school courses in middle school and taking college courses in high school smart so I think he could be what ever he wants. Who knows, but I know his true passion is the guitar, so he says he'll give the doctor thing a try and if that doesnt work out he can always play with the band
gotta love that thinking. I tried to post the video but the file is too long. Maybe I can have him put it up on you tube and then post. We'll see but thanks everyone for the kind comments. I know this is a Halloween forum but I was just busting with pride.
