first the thunder, loud and out of no where
    then big bolts of lightning
rain and, why are they screaming, oh crap HAIL!
it all looks like snow because of the wind
the road looks like a river because of the water
and it's like almost 90 degrees here

    this promises to be great

...somewhere in the north-woods darkness, a creature walks upright.
And the best advice you may ever get is never to go out…at night.

I envy you!! We had a four day or so heat wave of 90 degrees in the shade, and in the warmer areas it was up to 120- no kidding- and now we're 74 and holding.... living in San Diego is dead boring, we've two seasons- dry and a little less dry.

I can't even remember the last time I heard a peal of thunder... but we get one peal and everyone goes, 'there went the storm, wasn't it scary?'

well it would be nice not to have to worry about rain and snow sometimes. We have a walk thru, so we try to keep most of our stuff covered. even then a few years back we had a bad wind, and it blew down everything, what took us a week to put up in the first place... we had to put BACK up in a few hours!
