Thank you everyone. Thank goodness for this site and family, I'm sure you all will be a great support system for me and a happy distraction when I need it.

maleficent, you must be strong. a month ago, one of my best friends mother died of breast cancer. she suffered so much in the last few months and her death was almost a blessing because of her pain. i hope that your family will make it through this time.

I'm very sorry to hear about your family, Maleficent. We are thinking about you, and we are always happy to provide that much needed distraction whenever you need it.

We got more bad news yesterday. After a year and a half of chemo treatments the cancer is still spreading in all of her bones and has now moved into her liver. Just 5 months ago her prognosis was 4 to 5 years with continued treatment, now the Dr. says 1 year. She still wants to continue chemo treatments and is in good spirits.

I would like to say thank you to everyone here for all their prayers and good wishes. This is going to be a difficult year but knowing you are all here for us will be a great comfort.

So sorry to hear that. I pray that one day we will find a cure for the horrible disease. My prayers are also with your mother and with you.
