Ahhhhhhhhhhh.....man, that's so beautiful and refreshing!! I'm about to go out in it and catch raindrops on my tongue. Seriously, I wish I could plaster that across every window in our house!

WOOHOOO rain and down in the 80s tomarrow finally a break...I put up my pool and it was 90 degree water in 2 days.. AND IM IN PA!LOL If i wanted a bath i'd take one! keep cool everyone and keep the icecream handy..I find dilly bars work great .

DANG MADAME!! It looks like you're getting the hang of this whole "computer thang". I like that picture. But if I go out right now and try to catch raindrops on my tongue, it would just get sunburned along with the rest of me.Except, of course, for the white, pasty outline of a wifebeater and a completely white pair of feet......I'm such a redneck.

Yikes M.T. that is torture to us poor saps boiling away in the South! Lots of heat and no end in sight. And, to add insult to injury, I don't even get to cool off in the pool because I decided to take a day off, do a little much needed maintenance around the house, and then attempt to cut off one of my fingers. Stitches = no swimming. I know its only been 5 days, but boy does this stink.

I'm sorry guys but it's so hard to hear about sunny days and swimming pools where I live. Well actually....I guess were are just one big pool when you think about it but the temperatures have been in the low 50's. Seems like we have all these cool days and then **BAM** the temperature shoots up into the high 90's for a day. How's a girl supposed to plan a summer wardrobe? I ask ya!

Global Warming. It makes winters colder, summers hotter. Some places wetter, some places drier. It slices, it dices. Who determines the ideal temperature for the planet, anyway? I bet Siberians wouldn't complain if a billion acres of land became farmable. :-)

Clearly, I am hallucinating.....I hear what appears to be thunder, yet I know it can't be true..wait!! There it is AGAIN. I'm checking the radar, I don't believe this...

Laurie, you need to move to the Chicago area. We've had thunderstorms on and off for about 4 weeks straight with record rainfalls! PLUS, we get a change of seasons that puts a chill in the air for Halloween! Nothing beats having 4 seasons of weather. I don't care how much it snows or how cold it gets, I would never trade it for one season all year.

Besides, I thought you lived in Zimbabwe???

we did a Powwow just west of Atlanta this past weekend... dam daytime. It was brutal... camping overnight wasn't much better.

No more tent camping til October I am definitely OVER the heat and it is June..LOL Born and raised florida Native.

I so want a Camper LOL--- we had 3 more invites one in Alabama, one in GA, one in Ocala. all 3 in July. NO WAY am I camping.
