well, just got home from my first day.whew! my bones are achin, my feet are barkin. i haven'tworked in a year and i've got some extra weight on me, so it will take a little while to get used to. they are pretty cool, laid back people.

You'll get used to it. It's a great workout! Wish my job had some labor involved rather than typing, moving the mouse around and walking to meetings.
The people can help my a job so much better. That's great that they are laid back, sounds like you'll be making even more friends

Go, Kallie! Keep at it, the strength will come, the feet will stop hurting (make sure you've got good shoes!)...and, maybe you'll have access to their scrap bins, where you'd find all sorts of goodies for props!

Good for you girl, the dogs will get used to standing up!!! You really do need good shoes, and the ones I wear for my 12 hour marathons in the ED are called KLOGS (that's the brand name not the style) and they are without a DOUBT the best shoes I have ever worn in 27 years of nursing.
Now the commercial part of the program is over...

kallie, best news I've in awhile!!!! I was thinking like the auditor , wondering what they throw away you could use. I bet they throw away enough stuff for a whole haunt, minus a skeleton or two. Let some of the guys know about your hobby and I just bet they help scope out stuff you could use!!!

Kallie, that is so awesome, I am so happy for you. You'll get used to it in a few days., just think , getting paid to work out!- and like previous folks have said, maybe a great place to find parts for you haunt!
