Try temp services i have in the past and ended up with full time job. Temp places are not as bad as some say. I end up with a job the day i apply. Good luck!

Good grief, Kallie, that sucks man--there's almost nothing more stressful than being faced with financial uncertainties, and I know you're trying your best to find something...it took my husband forever to get a job after being laid-off himself. Just wish good folks weren't having such a hard time trying to draw an honest paycheck right now. Sending you a hug and best wishes in hoping you get that job very soon!!!

I feel your pain, kallie. I'm about to give up a sweet job I've had for 10 years driving around from job to job. The construction industry is nosediving here, and my job is heading in that same direction. Both my wife and I sent resumes to the Target distribution center and we have interviews on June 2nd. We'll pray for you if you pray for us..

I would have to agree on the temp service. My wife was employed after 2 days and eventually became the manager of a Dollar Store because of a temp placement.
But, on a lighter note to cheer you up a bit....Everytime I get worried about losing my job, it's not about the mortgage, electric bill, food, or anything like that, NO....I start thinking "How the hell am I gonna' get all the stuff I need for my columns and fences, how am I gonna' get my motor for the flying crank ghost?.............I'm a sad, sad case, kallie.

Oh Kallie, that sucks. I'm sorry your going thru such a rough patch. You'll be in my thoughts, have faith. Some way, some how it will work out. And come back here and vent whenever you need to.
BIG hugs & well wishes to you. Jackie

((((((Kallie)))))) Sending a hug your way. Hope all works out. I guess I'm pretty lucky that I have too many jobs right now. Jobs seem to be plentiful where I live, but I haven't really been looking either. I know my full time job keeps hiring, so I know there is hope out there somewhere. Oh, and do try a temp agency. We use them and are always hiring them as full time employees.

kallie girl, you've hung in through rough times before, and this one will resolve itself, too. Many hugs and prayers coming your way!!! Good luck!

What types of jobs are you applying for?
I hear the economy is bad, but the help wanted signs and ads are everywhere around here. Maybe take a job you don't want, then keep looking for what you do want.
Good luck! I spent a year job searching, but I also did odd jobs for a year to make some change. it sucks, for sure!
