So Im sure some of you have been watching American Idol. Curious as to who you guys are rooting for. As for me I've been a David Cook fan from the start. That is because I am a rocker girl at heart, have always had a thing for the rocker boys. David A is adorable, but i dont think he has the stage presence you need and why does he always look like he is ready to cry. OK Madame T i know you have a few things to say here so I will wait

Although I think David Cook is adorable and a fairly good rocker...he is inconsistent with pitch. Sometimes he resolves the note to compensate, but most of the times he just sits on it off key. His strength is stage presence, although he has been displaying quite a bit of stress lately. David Archaleta gets my vote for American Idol based on the quality of his voice in both pitch and control. He does lack stage presence and impact of his father's oppressive, over-bearing behavior shows in David A.'s demeanor. I'm pulling for little David, although I think they are both winners. They will just appeal to different audiences. Both will have a career in music regardless of the outcome of next week's vote. That's my opinion and I'm sticking with!!!!

Yes Madame you are right, whatever the outcome they should both do fine. David Cook will still have a career in rock and David A well I guess if something ever happens to Barry Manilow he can take over for him Ok Ok Im just kidding, sort of
Either way I will vote for Cook and you will vote for the kid. Cant wait to see what happens.

I feel like I might burst into flame just being in this thread.....never once have I been able to make myself watch an episode, and I realize I'm in the minority here. But I hope the season finale is exciting for y'all.

Laurie if you burst into flames please scorch Spooki for me. Her evil speak about little David....using Barry Manilow in the same sentence is blasphemy.

I'm rooting for David. (Yes, I know there are two of them.)

This was the first year that I just couldn't get into it. I'm waaaayyy too busy and just never found the time to just sit down and watch.

I am a rocker at heart , thru and thru, so David Cook for me, while David A has a good voice,I can't picture what type of album he would record that would sell , easy listening ballads aren't real big right now. But with the teeny boppers, he might win.

Someone needs to stand up for the oppressed. I'm just a caring, sensitive, non-rocker kind of person. Not everyone is a rocker. Think about Josh Groban, Andrea Bocelli, Michael Buble'....I know not your style but there is room for everyone in this world. Even wild and crazy women like you and me. LOL
