Yes he does have a big head, but he even admits that. He talked about it one time when they were showing his baby pictures. It does seem like sometimes he has a big attitude too, but I think that is because he is older and more confident. David A (A.K.A. Barry Mannilow wanna be) just kidding M.T. seems very skiddish on stage and nervous and always looks like he is going to cry. I feel bad for him because I think his dad makes him a nervous reck.
Either way I am rooting for David Cook all the way, and I cant wait to buy his CD.

Actually, i don't think he has a big attitude (DC)- he just is kinda laid back, you can tell on the results show he is nervous, he just shows it in a quieter way, not a blubbery way. But he did break down a coupla times and had tears, once when Simon said he did well, and when he walked out on the track/football field and saw all the people there. Any way, I also can't wait for his CD. I definitely will buy it. The Idol tour is coming to GrandRapids, of which I live in a suburb of, . I went with a friend and saw the one with Daughtry, Pickler, etc. Unfortunately we also had to see Taylor Hicks, whom we couldn't stand. Daughtry for sure had the bigger fan base there though. Saw Daughtry in concert a year later . Can ya tell I am a rocker?

So i just got done watching American Idol. Let me start by saying I realize this is not going to be a very popular statement, especially with Madame T (who I adore by the way) but I am sorry, David A is a swooner, a Josh Groban wannabe. How on earth do they expect to market this boy. Now that said, he does have a wonderful voice and did well with his very well thought out choices of songs, but he is a one trick pony. David Cook showed much more versatility and took more risks. Especially with his last song, unlike David who well just played the game by picking a song he knew the judges already loved. I am voting like hell for David C but I predict David A will win HOWEVER I also predict David Cook will outsell any CD David A does. Good for you David Cook for staying true to who you are and not playing the game. It may have cost you the competition, but certainly not a career!!!

By the way... David Archuleta kicked a$$ tonight. Yeah! No matter how the vote turns out the two David's are tremendously talented. Very different stylistically, but both winners in their class. They both have my total respect. There are plenty of teeny boppers (do they still use that term?) and old folks like me who will run out and buy David A.'s music. Having said that, I would also not mind listening to David Cook's recordings. I just wouldn't buy them because it's not my style of music.

    PS. I adore you too

I'm with Spookilicious, I love David Cook. I admit I got chills when David A sang his first song last night, it was amazing. But I normally cannot stand that kind of music. I was pissed he was touching Imagine again. I'm a rocker girl. My iTunes consist of Beatles, Green Day, Nickelback, Daughtry, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Bon Jovi, 80's hair bands, you get the idea. I'm not one for the ballads, I do like a good rock ballad, but that's about it.

I know DC's voice is not as good as DA, but DA is always the same song. His album is going to be the same song over and over with new words. DC will have screaming rock, rock ballad, head banging rock, all ranges of rock.

Plus DA, there's no denying he has a great voice, he needs to agree with everyone and stop looking like he's going to cry or throw up everytime he hears he's good.

You can tear my comments to shreds, but that only means I'm right.

I read on a Comcast forum someone saying they love DA and want him to win but if they had to buy 1 of the David's albums he would buy Cook's.

    Love you all.

Everyone knows how I feel, I'm thrilled for my boy Cook! Cant wait for his CD to come out. Just mad that Simon will make money on it after he was so nasty to him the night before.
