I know some of my fellow haunters have mentioned that they have problems make images smaller when they have posted on the forum.

There is a free program called IRFANVIEW ... I use this all the time for my images and have done for many years.

With IRFANVIEW, not only can you view images but the program has many other features that allow you to edit your images.

The resizing option is very simple... coupled with the crop option this is great for image resizing for web postings

Free is excellent Herman. Photobucket user's will also find an editing feature available to resize pictures. The presets are very easy to use. Just another option to consider.

Great program. You can also use it to extract frames from animations and to make your own icons. Use your kids faces for My Computer and My Documents and Freddy Krueger for Recycle Bin. I use it for my default program to open JPEGs.

I downloaded this program from C-Net this morning because it is a very trusted site. What I really like seeing was that it has been tested spyware free. So many free downloads can install spyware without your knowledge. I'm so addicted to trying new software that I couldn't resist. I haven't used the program yet, but it has many features that look good. Thanks for posting this resource.
