My brother wants me to be best man. His girlfriend is a recovering crackhead. Stolen his truck more than once. Put him through more crap and financially ruined him but he loves her. I can't stand her. I've seen her treat him like crap more times than I care to remember. There's nothing like picking your brother up from his work to drive him around looking for his truck at the local crackhouses. To have her showup days later saying "I'm sorry". And he wants me to forgive her. Yeah right. This year is starting up badly here. One year my brother was going to help me set up for halloween and she instead wanted to go bar hopping. I told them that it was OK but it wasn't. I told him if that was his choice I would be best man. I don't know what I'm going to do at the ceremony, when they ask if anyone has a reason why these two should not be wed. I may have to bring a huge list! LOL On my pics on the Halloween Gallery the vampress in the coffin is named after her because she is a blood sucking bi+(#. Sorry its vent day.

Hey, that's what we're here for!...I don't know what to say about this, she sounds like a real winner--Lord..that's a sticky situation...perhaps she'll have a relapse before the wedding and get busted, thrown in jail, and your brother will realize at that point she's not Ms. Right??? You know its bad when you girlfriend has been in jail more than any of your friends. And don't get me started on the $960 phone bill she and he racked up when she was in jail. That I had to pay! After 5 years she's cleaned up, yeah right! The worst thing about it is she has three daughters. From previous relations. That she sees on the weekend. But my brother is always talking about those girls. My brother has a heart of gold and she is just terrible to him. I hope she treats him better. But we will see.

I hope she shapes up too, but it doesn't sound like a good situation all the way around. You brother sound like a good guy, all you can really do at this point is to be there for him and pick up the pieces, if (when?) she messes this up. You sound like a very good caring brother yourself!

If your brother has any assets, I encourage you to get him to seek legal counsel.

He's your bro, if he loves her and wants to marry her... all you can do is tell him you support his decision, but she's a crazy biatch. Been there done that, my bro got divorced after 2 years and the crazy biatch bled him dry.

I suspect this marriage will be short term and he will probably pay high price for his decision. Since he is the only one that change the situation I would just do what it takes, within reason, to preserve your relationship with your brother. He will be your brother for life...hopefully, she is just passing through.

Words, of wisdom Madame Turlock! All you can do is be there for him, and if that means standing up at the ceremony, gritting your teeth and smiling, then so be it. We can't make our loved ones decisions for them, just stand by them to help them either celebrate or pick up the pieces.

Thanks Wilbret but most of my brothers assets have been hocked by him to house the biatch and pay for her cigs cause she smokes like a frieght train. (No offense smokers) Thanks Madame my brother has taught me alot of things over my life. He has always been the strongest of the family. I owe him alot he knows that I will always be there for him. She always finds a way to blame someone else for her problems. She wrote to me asking why I don't spend as much time with my brother as much as I use to. It's hard when he's usually shuttling her a$$ around to probation or a random drug test or to her parents house. Thats her answer to everything, writing to a person. Hey, why don't you talk to the person your writing to. That works better. Oh I almost forgot. When she was in jail she met a woman in jail that wanted to know if my brother had a brother she could meet. The woman wrote me a letter claiming she was innocent of the drug charges and wanted me too write back. THATS NOT GONNA HAPPEN! I'm lacking in the dating dept. But haven't gone that bad. I think my wedding gift for her will be a Monopoly Get out of jail free card. LOL
