I went into homdepot looking for screws like this. http://www.midstatesbolt.com/Web_Images/f_screws.jpg
Basicaly they are socket drive srews. I looked down the nail and screw ilses and could not find them. Then I cheackedthe bolt section but all I found where lag bolts. I need to find some of these 2-1/2 to 3inchs. There were no employes to ask. I was wondering if I was looking in the wrong section? I fond that phillipes and flat head screws just spin out when screwing pallets together, so I thought about trying these.

Those are sheet metal screws, go to a real hardware store, even Ace Hardware carries them.
I don't want to just scare them... I want to mess them up for life!

Try a star shaped screw..... kinda like a phillips but with more points... My husband loves them. They may be called torques head.
And he hates working with pallettes because they are usually made of a HARD wood.. So, may need to drill holes first !

The auto parts stores carries them. Hell I can probably order them. Take a look at the your local auto parts store if you can't find them. I use them all the time.
