Hehehehe, yep, that's practically our biggest form of entertainment around here, Valentine's Day or not.

Besides, Lost was on last night too, and for some reason, we can't stop watching it.

We are going to catch up on Lost tonight. That show is so freakin' cool! But last night the hubs took me to see The Spiderwick Chronicles. It was pretty cool. I love fantasy stuff, so it was right up my alley. And I got roses. hehe

He got you roses?, that's sweet! (oh yeah, they're beautiful!) Brownie points for him, for sure!
The Spiderwick Chronicles, that sounds interesting, but I've never heard of it...I'm so frustrated with Lost, AngelEye! That show does rock, but it sucks at the same time, you know? They. Won't. Answer. ANYTHING.
Do you have a favorite character?

Hmmm.. fav character? That's a tough one. I think I really must say that I don't have one. No, they don't explain anything.. that can be frustrating. But my husband and I LOVE to pick apart movies and shows and discuss what will happen next and make guesses. We can pick up forshadowing like we can pick up a remote.
It keeps the minded wondering and I like that. It isn't a spoonfed story that eventually becomes completely predictable.
Yes! I loved my roses.. he actually gave them to me the day before because he didn't want to get the left over roses from the Valentine's rush after work. They are really beautiful. I made him his favorite dinner when he got home and then he surprised me with the movie. He is great. ::sighs::

The spiderwick Cronicles looks interesting, did you like it AngelEye? Roses, lucky girl. At my age, we don't do much on valentines day, work to early for one thing. So I went grocery shopping (woo-hoo). But when I came home, the dishes were done, and kitchen clean. So , I was happy. We are going out to dinner tonight(Friday) so I guess that counts, sorta!
I have flying monkeys- and I'm not afraid to use them!

Yeah the movie was really good.. I wrote a little review for my friends on another site..
"So for Valentine's Day Erick took me to see The Spiderwick Chronicles. I have been wanting to see this ever since the preview came out. And for this type of movie with a PG-13 rating, it didn't disappoint.
The movie is based off of the book series by author Holly Black. Unfortunately for me I have not read the stories but from what I hear, the movie was true to the books.
The movie begins with the Grace family. Twins Jared and Simon, sister Mallory, and their Mother moved from New York to a large, old house in the middle of nowhere through an inheritance. Immediately it is determined that something strange it going on at this place. The childrens' parents are going through a divorce and this weighs heavily on Jared in particular who lashes out at just about anything. And it is through his rebelious spirit that he discovers a hidden dumb waiter in the wall and takes it up to find a secret room, years locked away and full of dust. Upon opening a chest with a key he found in the dumb waiter, he makes another discovery. 'Arthur Spiderwick's Field Guide to the Fantastical World Around You.'
After the guide was opened despite the warning on the front to not open the book, the.. less desirable fantastical creatures wanted to get their hands on it to destroy the world. The situation sparks the coming together of a family and the battle to save the world.
I enjoyed the film very much and if you have a love for the fantasy genre, I recommend it. The story opens the imagination and is just an all around good movie. Enjoy."
