I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem. 2 years ago I went and switched to Noma LED's for my outdoor lights. I bought two packages from Canadian Tire. When I plugged them in they were fine. When we plugged them in after hanging them on the roof several lights were out on both strands. We exchanged them and the new ones worked fine. We only had them on for a couple of days prior to Christmas. The following year we put them up and had the same issue. Several lights on both strands were out. I contacted the company and they said to contact Canadian Tire which is pointless because they won't do anything after 45 days.
I'm really hesitant to buy more LED's because of this. It would be somewhat acceptable if I could replace the dead lights but I can't. Is this common? Or was it a big fluke? Is there a brand that is more reliable?

You may find this Christmas decorators forum to be of some use regarding lights:

But, as far as your particular purchase, I am afraid I'm of no help.
Good luck and see you around the forums...Hell is an eternity of getting up at 4am to nothing but decaf coffee...
2009 photos and 2008 photos ...uhmmm...and what I have evolving...
