Hey you know what I think I am going to go start 25 weekly threads to go with the 20 or so Xmas threads--anyone wanna helP??

so what's on the agenda?

My Aunt (Dad's sis, I haven't seen her in 5 yrs) and my cousin are comin to town today.... they spent Xmas in Ocala. I think it'll be fun....cousin is a trip.

Yeh, I have to work today. Leaving in a few minutes. Been up for a few hrs now, lots of coffee in my system.
You sure are right, there is a lot of x-mas threads.

Governor gave me the day off...Jan. 2, too...nice guy! Friend Wife has to work, though. So I'll be spending the day finishing building her studio (I hope).

Glad to hear so many had a good holiday. Not bad out this way, wet and brown, but the important parts went well (e.g. family actually behaved). 2/3 of what was found under the tree for me was Halloween related...including some pretty cool vintage Halloween plates from my MIL. They'll be reappearing at the party next fall.

Haunt, I know it's late, sorry...but I'm really glad I was wrong about the dog situation.

As the dishwasher gurgles away, I wait for the coffee to brew... I'm up late today; expect I'll be recooping and cleaning for a while. My place is totally trashed. I'm not sure what happens on holidays, but everyone here seems to forget that there is a trash bin and a dishwasher. Oh well, I shouldn't complain...there were no christmas day shootings. I never understood how people could go from "What a lovely chia pet! I'll treasure it always!" to "You have the right to remain silent..."



Auditor- Vintage halloween stuff, eh? Well somebody loves you!!!

Moongirl- I know the honey thing sounds bizarre. I thought it was a little wierd too, but then I ate some at a friends house and it was sooooo good. You add a touch of it in your egg/cheeses mixture as well. Think of it as chocolate meets pretzels!

I'm back to work too. Took me quite a while to catch up with what everyone was doing the last few days..... I've been gone since thursday.
My desk is a pile.... the mail man just delivered a big tote full of mail ! yuk!!

Christmas went very well...... We used paper plates ! I guess there is a first for everything. Felt guilty about it, but boy is it nice not having a heaping sink full of dishes, even after I fill the dishwasher !

I got lucky and bought all the right sizes, nothing has to be returned! My husband is home till after the New Year...... We'll see what I go home to.

Christmas morning I got up, started preparing food..... Got out the camera and camcorder and charged the batteries in the camcorder..... When people started showing up, I discovered as I tried to video some of it, that..... I had no tape in the camera....Then when I grabbed the camera,...... the batteries were DEAD. Goodthing, my son got a new cell phone and I got ahold of him before he got to the house...... He brought BATTERIES !!!
It was a good day afterall.

It was really hard to have to get up and come to work !!! boring boring boring.... Oh well, only 2 days... then I'm off till Jan 2nd.

Think I've said it before but....... I don't have internet at home... can't get high speed (other than Hughesnet) and dial up isn't worth it. Hughesnet is WAY to expensive !!!!!!!!!
