    Full Story

One of my personal favorites with Peter is Young Frankenstein.

Me too. He was hilarious on Raymond, but evil in "Monster's Ball". (That is a compliment by the way,)

Little known film he stared in was, "Hard Core" where he played a P.I. involved in helping George C. Scotts character in tracking down his daughter who was caught up in the sleezy underworld of sex films. It was a late '70's or early '80's film.

Yeah, he was starred in "Young Frankenstein" with Gene Wilder, and also, he starred in "Outland" with Sean Connery in 1981. I really can't recall all the film titles that he had belong to.... Of course, he was in "Monster's Ball" with Billy Bob Thornton and Halle Berry as well... He spent his entire almost 10 years on tv series "Everybody Loves Raymond". I really liked him alot!

I read his health history, in 1990, he had a stroke and he can't talk at least 6 months, then again, in 1999, he had a heart attack during his play in "Everybody Loves Raymond" scene, then the show was stopped at the moment until his heart system improved. How sadly! I still do miss him!

I must admit, I HATED this guy the first time I saw him. He portrayed a big Hardhat guy who was a bigot in a movie called "Joe". I saw it on an outdoor screen while living in a Construction Camp in Northern Australia. As a big Hardhat guy myself, I certainly took issue with the suggestion that all us big Hardhat guys are bigots. But, over the years I saw him in other stuff. He played a sort of philosophical Cab Driver in the Robert DeNiro classic "Taxi Driver". He was hilarious as s sociopath set loose in a little gem called "The Dream Team" with Michael Keaton. Then of course there was "Young Frankenstein". I later learned that he turned down a role that won an Oscar for gene hackman, Popeye Doyle in "The French Connection". He knocked it back because he felt the screenplay glamorized violence. Did you guys know that John Lennon was the Best Man at Boyle's wedding?
So, I was wrong about him. He was really a cool guy. Sorry about that, Big Fellah. Rest in Peace.

    R.I.P. Mr. Boyle.

Putting on the Ritz will never sound the same again.

All the great ones are leaving us, damn shame.
