Glad you made it back safely.
My Cousin had two of his sons go to Iraq in the Marines. One made it through 3-6 month tours. His youngest son though was blown apart last month by one of those friggin' car bombing assholes they have over there. You know? One of those terrorists that supposedly don't really exist in Iraq. He and 4 fellow Marines were parked next to the car in their Hummer when it blew up.

I thought it was pretty much common knowledge that terrorists were using Iraq as a place to attack Americans. VBIEDs and IEDs are the biggest killers over there. Really unfortunate because there is not all that much you can do about it. Even the Strykers can't stand up to some of those.

Glad to have you back, jcarp, and just in time for the Holidays!
Our little community of 68,000 had 450 Army Reservists deployed in 2005-06. So far we've lost 8 soldiers from here. Did you happen to meet anybody from Samoa?Wolfman
