Here it is December 5th and I find myself longing for it to be August again so I can start preparing for Halloween Horror Nights 2007, mapping out our house decorations and just generally getting ready to enjoy Halloween.
Yet here I sit in the midst of the Christmas season searching the internet for Halloween websites, photos from HHN, HHN news, Halloween costumes and items for my village for next year, etc.
I'm trying to get more into the spirit of Christmas, but I just can't for some reason.
Why the heck can't I get out of the Halloween spirit?! LOL
On that note...it's only 312 days till Halloween 2007!!!

Do what I did...add some halloween into an xmas display. If weather is bad outside, find a prop to work on indoors for next year. Paper mache. Corpse. Dream.

Why bother to get out of the Halloween spirit? Let it run through Christmas, hahah!
I say, if it's there at all, it's there for a reason, so let it run wild.
Get a head start on designs and ideas, make sure Halloween items (or tools to help you make items) are on your Christmas list... just enjoy it!
I'm finding myself as primed for Halloween now as I was in August, and I've been experimenting with a few design ideas and programming modifications, that sort of thing... can't explain it, ain't about to try to explain it, just enjoying the ride!!!!

Tee hee. I've always got Halloween on the brain too. I went to a Christmas ornament painting party last weekend and I made one with a Jack-O-Lantern snowman and another with all different Halloween images on it.

Haha, nice LHALLOW! Oh and Deadend, just to be fair, I should have mentioned that another reason I've been longing for August lately is because we've had a 1/4 inch of ice and 4 inches of snow on the ground all week!
But yep, as this forum surely indicates, for most of us Halloween is definitely year-round.

You go LHALLOW! That's the same thing I'd be doing at an ornament painting party. As my hubby would say, I tend to "Halloween things up" year round!
I was just sitting here at my desk and found it quite ironic that despite the Christmas carols being played on the radio, the extreme amount of decorations within the office...here I am thinkin' about Halloween...LOL
So glad to have found this forum and all my fellow Halloween addicts as well!
And I've made one decision about next Halloween, I'm going to audition for Halloween Horror Nights no matter what. I'm getting older and if I don't do it soon...it won't happen at all. So come next Halloween, I plan on spending a good amount of time getting paid to scare other people!

I just prop the tree up-hang some crap for the kids, that should be enough for them. I just make sure i get them got x-mas stuff for the day, but im still working on halloween stuff.
psst.....hey, on a side note in a second thought, if ur thinking of halloween three weeks before x-mas, u may have some kind of problem,(as I grab the yellow pages and look under shrink, call this number)LOL
Your not alone!!!!!

If we ever have kids, needless to say I'm going to make them "Halloweenies" as well...LOL
I wonder if my insurance would cover psychiatric care for our "illness"?

That's awesome!
I didn't really get into Halloween until I was older, I'm not sure when my fascination started. It just seems that every year, I find myself loving it more and more! Thankfully my husband enjoys it as much as I do...and I've found that this year I turned him away from the dark side (Christmas) and he was much more "in" to Halloween than ever before!
I bet your kids love the fact that their Dad is so into Halloween!I came here to chew bubble gum and kick ass. I'm all out of bubble gum.
