lol, of course they'd still increase their rates. Its quite simple, every single company ever does it. Look at McDonald's, they charge more every year for the exact same(or lesser quality) product...

Believe what you want, but insurance rates do go up based off fraud. While it is true other factors contribute, one growth factor is in fact fraud. If the difference is even a dollar a year for me, it's still the principle. Why should I and everyone else who pays their insurance have to lose a dollar a year because someone is too lazy to get a job and decides to fake an accident, and get money for not doing anything?

Considering that the primary rule of haunt actors is no touching, I consider it a bit far fetched and naive to think that groping bad enough to call the police over was an accident. Mike is quite correct that it's the principle here of everyone paying for two peoples greed, that is unconscionable. And we're not talking about one incident, we're talking about being CONVICTED on over 35 counts, involving multiple incidents, and totalling half a million. The very thought that "hey, I'm willing to forget all that because you showed me how to make a prop", just shows how low we've fallen as a society. Get over the fact that your having trouble with insurance companies, we all do. As ugly Joe said, we ALL took a hit from this, because now people will be thinking they aren't safe going into private haunts. I wonder how "minor" everyone would consider the groping incident if it was their mother, sister, or daughter.

If someone "groped" my mother, sister, or daughter, the police would be picking them up in the hospital.

Maybe there will be a prop sale to settle his debt. Then everyone will be happy.

Ok...I said I would stop....but I can see what is going on here...
Everyone is making assumptions and then fueling the fire...
#1 is We really don't know what happened for sure...
you don't know if that women was brushed up against accidentally or actually touched and where....why would someone risk everything after several years just to grope a 26 year old Woman for a second...that in itself sounds crazy to me...but I don't know the facts either...I am assuming..
I think the best bet for all of us haunters is don't get close to the patrons and have video cameras recording everything. The camera does not lie!!
#2 Nobody is saying that he should not go to jail because he makes good props....when I said earlier that I hope he gets out for halloween to help me out was more of a joke than anything...I mean come on...stop twisting and turning things...
and most of all stop Assuming...
