I agree with Frightmaster about using guns to scare someone. I also think everyone that owns a gun should go through some sort of training and learn how to use it.
You have to ask yourself if this would have turned out differently if she would have got out of a parked car. walked up to the door and asked permission to do an investigation.

The cold winter air lets me know I'm still alive. I feel it as I breath in and see it as it leaves me. It's the point in-between I'm not sure about.....

There are many laws in PA for people who are licensed to carry. In fact a lot of people did not know that if I am carrying my gun and driving down the road and get cut-off. I give that person the finger. I can be arrested for FELONY AGRRAVATED ASSULT. I am help to a higher standard and should be above giving the finger to someone. Also just becasue someone is in ym house I am not allowed to shoot them. I still have to feel (and prove) I truely felt my life was in danger of ending. Sux huh.

I agree as well regarding use of a gun - I've never even touched one before so obviously I don't know much. I was just trying to follow his logic of trying to "scare" someone, although he obviously didn't have any logic if the first place so it's a mute point. If you're going to be dumb enough to shoot off a gun to scare someone, shoot it somewhere other than at them. Which I guess makes it boil down to him not really just wanting to "scare" them. He was mad, and now is coming up with a self defense excuse.
What he should have done was opened up the doors and charged admission!

What he should have done was NOT use the GUN in the first place. HE wshould be swinging from a tree limb just for the level of stupidity he demostrated. I have pulled my gun twice. Both were in my house. 1 was my down was opened and I thought someone wass inside (daughter left it opened when we left). and the other was when my dog woke me up at 4:00 am and was going CRAZY. Never seen her act like that. Other then that I never even shown it to anyone outside of my house.

Why would you pull a gun in the first place! If they had come up to the door and threatened him with violence or something like that, then maybe you can pull a gun. The girls were I'm sure were an annoyance, but I'm sure they were never a threat.
